Rohde & Schwarz UK are committed to building long-term relationships with UK and Irish Universities in technology sectors relating to RF & Microwave, Radio Communications and Broadcasting. We are investing time, manpower and technical expertise to reach out to Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching staff and project leaders. As part of our mission to support UK and Irish University teaching, we will also assist University Research Programmes where required.
Our approach is mutually beneficial. Universities gain affordable access to innovative, high quality products and platforms with associated novel applications, whilst undergraduates gain experience on the latest Rohde & Schwarz instrumentation, plus teaching materials and invaluable contact with technical experts from our company. Meanwhile, a close working relationship with leading-edge academic research groups helps build Rohde & Schwarz’ awareness of emerging fields of electronic and communications research, feeding back into our product development cycle so that we can meet academic and industrial needs now and in the future.
Rohde & Schwarz ‘sponsored labs’ program provides a comprehensive support package that can include technical seminars and undergraduate and postgraduate project support, as well as educational material in the form of technology books and application notes.
