Multi-band LTE MIMO drive test presented at GSMA MWC 2012

At the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Rohde & Schwarz demonstrated MIMO drive test measurements in LTE networks. The latest R&S®ROMES4 software version enables to collect important MIMO data during a drive test which is essential in determining where MIMO functions best in a specific coverage area and where investments in MIMO pay off. Together with the new software, the R&S®TSMW drive test scanner not only supports LTE, but also previous standards such as UMTS, GSM and CDMA in a single instrument.
