Calibration



Why calibration is necessary from the customer’s point of view:

Companies which apply a quality management system (e.g ISO9000) must regularly use calibrated measuring equipment in quality related areas. This minimizes the risk that faulty products are manufactured and delivered due to the use of measuring equipment which does not meet requirements.
 

Every Rohde & Schwarz product we calibrate is run through a rigorous, consistent and meaningful battery of tests before we certify its readiness for your continued use. We could cut corners to reduce costs, but we believe doing so would betray your trust in Rohde & Schwarz as a world-class provider of products and services.
 

Calibrations cover uncompromising parameters. We will spend hours optimizing your instrument’s performance so your application never misses a second of top performance. Where most service providers test a few points of specifications, we verify and adjust literally hundreds of critically important specifications. Why? To make sure that every R&S product we service continues to deliver factory-standard performance. In some cases we’ll even improve upon factory build condition by installing performance, reliability and safety modifications at no additional cost. No other vendor offers this level of dedication.
 

BSI-logo Our most competent and optimally trained personnel carry out calibration efficiently and quickly. Your devices will be extensively calibrated to a high test depth with the help of standardized measuring systems. The calibration can be traced back to national and international standards. Our air-conditioned calibration laboratories are certified to ISO 9001.
